AU 2024 in San Diego: Technology and transformation in HVAC industry
More than 12,000 professionals from all over the world gathered to explore the innovations shaping the design and build industries at Autodesk University (AU2024), The Design & Make Conference this year. The event was presented as a central place for the exchange of ideas, the presentation of the most modern technologies and the definition of the direction in which the construction and industrial sectors are moving.
Artificial intelligence increasingly changes the HVAC industry way of working. Using AI technologies, we can make detailed analysis of the system performance and predict necessary corrections and improve efficiency. This approach reduces costs, minimizes human errors and rapidly increases the speed of work processes. This synergy enables us to work more efficiently, regardless of the distance or complexity of the project, which is important for success in our industry.
At AU2024, we noticed concrete examples of the implementation of renewable energy sources, the integration of smart technologies and the use of materials with a smaller ecological print. These solutions not only meet current needs but also ensure a sustainable future.
It was discussed about technologies that enable better use of natural resources, waste reduction and creation of more energy-efficient systems. The HVAC industry, as a significant consumer of energy in buildings, must be a leader in the development of green solutions.
Digital tools, such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), are becoming crucial in connecting all phases of a project, from idea to realization. BIM enables the creation of virtual models that include all technical aspects of construction, reducing the risk of errors and increasing precision. At the conference, we evidenced the global use of BIM and other technologies that optimize processes, improve safety and control costs.
