According to the importance of speed of response, using an AED at the workplace is a key measure in improving the safety of all employees.
By purchasing an automated external defibrillator (AED) and training 10 of our colleagues how to use it correctly, we not only want to be prepared for emergencies, but also to raise awareness about the importance of timely interventions.
The European Week for Safety and Health at Work was characterized with an important initiative in order to ensure health and safety in the workplace.
AEDs enable a rapid response in situations where every moment is precious. It is easy to use them and enable to give an electric shock to the heart of a person experiencing a heart attack, increasing the chances of survival until the emergency comes. Our goal is not only to provide equipment, but also to educate colleagues for the effective use of AEDs.
This initiative is just one step in an ongoing effort to improve working conditions and make our workplace safer for everyone. Through the implementation of AED devices we want to show how seriously we take the responsibility for the health of our employees, and our goal is to create an environment in which each member feels safe and supported.
